Cars.com hit the streets at the Taste of Chicago event to find out from the attendees what features they would like to see on the next generation of cars and trucks. Some wanted coffee makers, a few wanted restroom facilities, and some of the younger generation requested things like machine gun turrets and ejector seats. One requested a water fountain and fridge, a steering-wheel assisted texting device and others had more farfetched requests like submersibles and flight capability.

Car and Driver Long-Term Test - Mazda3
Caranddriver.com put the Mazda 3 under a long-term test, and have beaming comments to share about it. Lively behind the wheel, the Mazda 3 performed wonderfully throughout the winter months - a concern we South Floridians are not familiar with, but it does say a lot about the reliability of the Mazda 3. After all, if the Mazda 3 can deliver on wet, slushy snow, it can certainly manage the rain and slick roads South Florida sometimes throws at us.
The all-new Mazda 2 proves that small cars no longer have to be poor quality and uncomfortable. This genuinely attractive compact shows you can get excellent value, great efficiency and a wonderfully zippy vehicle for a price you can’t beat.
Mazda continues the full update to its vehicles with the new “Nagare” design philosophy, and none show it better than the 2011 Mazda5. The Sky is calling - Mazda's new, efficient engines
In Mazda’s endeavor to create the most fuel efficient gas engines possible, they have announced the creation of the Sky-G and Sky-D engines. Details on the Sky-G are still few, but we do know it will deliver up to a 15% increase in torque AND fuel efficiency over the current Mazda gas engine, the I-4.
News about the next generation of the MX-5 have hit the streets recently, and sources say that the next re-imagining of this beloved Mazda vehicle will be worth the wait.
Mazda has been hinting at the return of the RX-7, the sports car with the twin-rotor rotary engine and rear-wheel drive that was so popular in the early 2000’s. Conflicting rumors abound. On one front, we have the information that the engine being considered for the RX-7’s glorious return is a version of the 16X direct-injection rotary powerplant Mazda revealed in 2007. But, according to other sources, Mazda is targeting a more emissions-friendly platform, and that this engine can meet that goal.
What is Zoom-Zoom? Mazda has been using the term since 2000, as part of their campaign to describe what they call “emotion of motion”. The song, which everyone has at least hummed once or twice, is an original from musician Jibril Serapis Bay. But the concept goes far deeper than just a catchy tune.
