Miami Art Museum (M.A.M.) presents Second Saturdays are Free for Families
Every month all visitors are welcome to participate in hands-on activities for children and adults. There are also special family oriented guided tours. The event is intended to bring families together to explore the museum and create art together, as well as having unique experiences with featured guest artists.
Past Second Saturday events have featured nature-themed Family Festivals, which have focused on live wildlife presentations by the Miami Science Museum, and future events are themed around "Detective Descriptions," which was inspired by Rivane Neuenschwander's First Love installation.
Second Saturdays hours are from 1-4pm, and tours begin at 2pm. Parking is $5 with validation at 50 NW 2nd Ave, and M.A.M. can also be reached by Metrorail by exiting at the Government Center Station. For more information contact (305)375-5466 or email rgarmendia@miamiartmuseum.org.
