South Motors Mazda takes a Look Ahead to the 2022 World Cup, in Miami?
The world's biggest stage in the soccer community, the FIFA World Cup, location is up for grabs, and Miami is putting its name in the hat for 2022.
The decision on who will host the World Cup is typically made six to seven years prior to the actual even taking place. This year however, the FIFA inspectors will announce the venue for 2018 and 2022. Hosted every four years since 1930, with the exception of war years during WWII, the World Cup has only once been held in the United States.
As the gousabid.com site so perfectly states, "There is likely no city in the United States where futbol is more intertwined into the fabric of the community than Miami," and the site goes on to proclaim Miami as, "A true international city, made up of over 37 cultures and nationalities, Miami is the place for all futbol fans to come together to celebrate the dynamic spirit and tradition of the FIFA World Cup."
